We recently attended IFAT in Munich — the world's leading meeting place for environmental technology — with a broad team as part of a joint tour organized by the Norwegian Association For Hazardous Waste (NFFA) with a total of 66 participants.
The fair brought together suppliers and professional communities from all over the world in waste, recycling and environmental technology, and provided ample opportunities for professional replenishment and exchange of experience.
Through eventful days, participants gained insight into a wide range of solutions — from advanced water treatment and analysis methods to new technologies and equipment in waste management. The visit also provided valuable learning opportunities through dialogue with manufacturers, treatment facilities and partners.
“I had a particular focus on the laboratory area, to look at new measurement methods and analyses,” says environmental advisor Melisa Strenitz.
The fair also facilitated strengthening existing relationships and exploring new cooperation opportunities, both nationally and internationally.
“We see great value in participating with a broad team. This gives us better insight and strengthens cooperation across disciplines,” says CSO Christine Lervik Palm.
The participation confirms IFAT as an important arena for SAR also going forward, and now we are going to take with us everything we have learned
