Football, team spirit, and a vital cause at the heart of it all. When SAR participated in this year's Fibercup, it was about much more than just the results on the pitch. The event brought together businesses, partners, and dedicated participants in the fight against cancer, creating space for networking, camaraderie, and meaningful connections.
When SAR fielded a team for this year's Fibercup, the participants experienced a day defined by competition, team spirit, camaraderie, and great enthusiasm.
On the pitch, there were wins, draws, and losses, but it is the positive atmosphere and sense of unity that the participants remember most from the tournament.
The Fibercup provides a unique meeting place where employees, partners, and business representatives can connect in an informal setting. For the SAR team, the day was an opportunity to strengthen relationships both internally and within their network.
But the Fibercup is about more than just football. The event brings people together for a cause that touches so many. When the joy of sports is combined with support for the fight against cancer, it creates a community that gives the day an extra dimension and reminds us of the importance of supporting one another.
"On the pitch, it's about making good passes. In professional life, it's about building good relationships. At the Fibercup, we got to do both."– Sindre Håland, team captain
For SAR, participating in such initiatives is a natural part of our desire to be an active and visible contributor to our community. At the same time, it gives employees the chance to experience camaraderie in a new setting and build stronger relationships that they bring back to their daily work.
This year's Fibercup provided many great experiences, plenty of laughter, and a clear reminder of what can be achieved when people come together through activity, community, and an important cause.
A big thank you to Viking Fotball, Lyse, the partners, and everyone who contributed to a wonderfully meaningful and inspiring day.
