On March 8, we mark International Women's Day — a day to recognize and honor the contributions of women in working life and society as a whole.hos SAR We are proud of all our employees, both men and women. But on the occasion of this day, we would like to draw attention to our talented female colleagues in the operations department at Mongstad. Every day, they contribute with expertise, dedication and courage to drive our business forward.
Women who strengthen the team
At Mongstad, we see how our female employees help build strong teams where collaboration and expertise are at the center. With a common goal of delivering the most environmentally friendly solutions, they ensure that the entire process — from receiving waste to final treatment — is carried out with the highest quality.
Today, the department consists of 25 employees, of which 14 are women. Together, they represent a wide range of professions and responsibilities. Several of the positions were previously seen as nontraditional choices for women -- a clear sign that old barriers are breaking down, and that skilled professionals are finding their place, regardless of gender.

Waste management is not about quick solutions, but about precise processes that must be followed from A to Z. Strict rules and procedures must be adhered to, and health, safety and the environment are always at the top of the agenda.
